  • Locating Restrictions that Affect Booth Activities & Promotional Planning
  • Creating a Show Planning Guide Checklist you can immediately apply; track responsible parties, meet deadlines, guide yourself through the planning and logistics tasks step-by-step and more

  1. Familiarize Yourself with the Exhibitor Kit sent from Show Services: Understand the “Standard” items that appear in every Exhibitor Kit you will receive & identify “Extras” you will come across.
     
  1. Organize the Clutter: Learn how to create a Show Planning Binder to keep all of the important paperwork sent from Show Services in order & easily accessible. Discover a system for dividing the Binder into defined sections & which area to place the various paperwork you receive.
     
  1. Learn when to SAVE TIME – OR – SAVE MONEY when Ordering Services: Most Exhibitors are responsible for staying within a budget; this section will teach you how to maximize the dollars you spend, by learning strategies that will save you money on these services.
     
  1. Learn where to Find Additional Promotional Opportunities: Every show offers a wide variety of FREE promotional opportunities that are often overlooked; these include, but not limited to Press Release Templates to announce you’re Exhibiting at the show, Media list to schedule appointments, Best of Show Award to apply for and so on. These are in addition to the Marketing items you may have already purchased from the Show Sales Executive!
     
  1. Learn where to Find the Restrictions for your Exhibit: To effectively plan for exhibiting & what will occur in the booth, it is imperative that you understand the restrictions determined by Show Management & the Show Hall beforehand; this section will make you aware of the various types of restrictions you may come across & where to find them.  
     
  1. Meet those Deadlines: Learn how to create a standard Show Planning Spreadsheet Template, which can be used for each show you exhibit at; to meet your planning deadlines, as well as track responsible parties & can easily incorporate the deadlines sent from Show Management.
     
  1. Registering your Booth Staff: Most shows define a certain number of badges allotted to Exhibitors & their Booth Staff; learn where to locate this information & the various methods you will come across for registering your Exhibitors.
