Publicity

WELCOME! You have entered the "No B.S. Zone"
..."you'll find this content very refreshing!" ; )
- Linda Musgrove, President of TradeShow Teacher

This has been another busy and exciting month, among other things I've been conducting lots of that Public Speaking I wrote about last month!

The most recent event I participated in was as a program partner of Entrepreneurship Week USA, the event was titled, Marketing 101 - Recipe for Success - attendance was great and I received excellent feedback on the Seminar Evaluation Forms I handed out - but who can guess what was the most important aspect of this event for my business? If you guessed Publicity, then you are correct!

A great way for you to get business opportunities is through using publicity effectively; take for example this event I just mentioned as a "Case Study" - below is a look at the publicity efforts and the results generated. I encourage you to consider how you can apply these strategies to your business to get publicity!

Publicity Efforts:

Press Release Announcing the Seminar, highlighting that it was part of the nationally recognized
   Entrepreneurship Week USA event.
The Press Release was distributed via Free Press Release distribution
sites, sent directly to local media in South Florida and distributed by the Media representatives from
   Entrepreneurship Week USA

Seminar listed on the Entrepreneurship Week USA site

E-marketing invites to the seminar (sent via the TradeShow Teacher Website)

Event Listings On-line, in Magazines & in the Newspaper - all with a link to my website for more info. ; )

Cross promotion with UniLatina School of Business where the event was held; sent to their
database, listed on their website, promoted at Networking Events, promoted at the school, etc.
